I hope that you are aware of Raspberry Pi and have a working Raspberry with Raspbian installed. Now if you want you can change the default password of your raspberry pi, root password or even resetting the password for any user, add new user, Grant sudo access to this new user and delete a user, then please follow this blog.
If you are not aware of Raspberry Pi, then please check the blog “What is Raspberry Pi ?” and then to install OS(Raspbian) on Raspberry Pi check the blog “Starting/Booting Raspberry Pi“. You may also purchase a new Raspberry Pi(Purchase single unit or full package[recommended]) from amazon.
Change password for default pi user and the root user
Note :- To reset the the password of any user just write the user name in side the following parenthesis.
sudo passwd <user_name>
- Changing default password for pi user. You will now be prompted to enter the password two times, please enter the same password on both the lines.
sudo passwd pi
- Changing default password for root. You will now be prompted to enter the password two times, please enter the same password on both the lines.
sudo passwd or sudo passwd root
